SoJoGo leverages its extensive leadership/executive experience and DEIB expertise in order to tap into the innovation, expertise, and passion inherent in high-performing leaders and their teams. Some examples of our scope of work over the past 18 months include: Since 2018, we have worked with a cross sector of businesses and organizations including: health systems (primary care, hospitals, health plans), philanthropy, civil rights organizations, public policy firms, and non-profit/community based organizations.


Chief Diversity/Equity Officer Services

A meaningful commitment to DEIB across staff roles/functions and stakeholders requires an in-house EDI strategist, navigator, team builder, and champion. Given our combined executive and EDI experience, SoJoGo works with clients in an array of capacities - as strategic consultant, an executive coach/advisor, a thought leader, in house talent manager and trainer. For longer-term scopes of work. SoJoGo can serve as a part time or interim Chief Diversity/Equity officer on a monthly retainer basis.


DEIB & Health/ Racial Equity Strategy

SoJoGo can design and execute strategies that integrate across organizational systems, policies and processes and/or across key stakeholders. Some examples of our strategic consulting work with clients in recent years include: 

  • Developed and designed a national health equity framework to inform and guide community programs and health policy for a Latino/a/x community based organizations.

  • Integrated DEIB priorities into existing strategic plans and identified organizational and community metrics to track and monitor progress and success.

  • Designed a health equity centered funding framework for a philanthropic foundation looking to move beyond health access and program centered grants.


Leadership Development

SoJoGo co-designs, facilitates, and evaluates DEIB centered leadership development programs or series. Our roles and services include coaching and mentoring programs, in-person and virtual leadership programs, and leadership retreats. Some examples of our DEIB-centered leadership development work include:

  • Designed and facilitated virtual DEIB primer for C-Suite executive and senior leadership team based on popular education principles, peer-to-peer learning, and small group coaching.

  • Re-imagined and customized popular executive/leadership competencies with an integrated DEIB lens to include topics such as knowledge/data management, leading and navigating change, and communications and data storytelling.

  • Designed DEIB board governance toolkit addressing core fiduciary responsibilities such as consumer governance, strategic alliances, corporate brand, data/knowledge management, and C-Suite staff support.
